Essentially the Persian variant of the Arabic script. Written right to left. Has 38 letters, 10 more than Arabic. Nastaliq is the preferred calligraphic style, with words hanging from a baseline. Used by over 170 million people. Urdu and Hindi are mutually intelligible when spoken but use different scripts.
