About Adlam Script
Created by two teenage brothers, Ibrahima and Abdoulaye Barry, for the Fulani language. Written right to left with 28 letters, including capitals. The name is an acronym for the alphabet that unlocks the development of the Fulani people. Spread from Guinea across West Africa and into Unicode in 2016. Taught in schools and used in phone keyboards and signage.
