About Georgian Alphabet
Three distinct historical scripts: Asomtavruli, Nuskhuri, and Mkhedruli. Mkhedruli has 33 letters used in modern Georgian. The shapes are unique, not derived from any other known script. The earliest inscriptions date to the 4th century. Georgia is one of the few countries with an indigenous script still in daily use. UNESCO added it to the intangible heritage list.
