About Gujarati Script
Used for Gujarati with 60 million speakers. Very similar to Devanagari but without the horizontal top line. Mahatma Gandhi wrote in this script. Has 34 consonants and 12 vowels. The absence of the shirorekha headline makes it visually distinct from Devanagari. The script evolved from the Nagar Brahmi script.
